The Telly awards are a national competition that recognizes the best in video production.

The Harrington Group (THG) and the Borough of Ship Bottom, NJ have gained international recognition with the premiere of their tourism video series, "Ship Bottom is For You" which appear on the borough's website, social media, and at Borough Hall. The award winning video promotes the borough as a premier destination for all seasons, featuring live action shots and drone footage, locals, tourists, businesses and even celebrities demonstrating everything that Ship Bottom is “for”… especially "YOU!"
Other 2025 award recipients included Pixar Animation Studios, Hearst Media, ESPN, LinkedIn, NATO, MTV Entertainment Studios, NASA, Marriott International, Telemundo, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Connecticut Office of Statewide Marketing & Tourism, and more.

The 31st annual Communicator Awards program - acknowledging innovation, excellence, and creativity in communications - honored The Harrington Group and the Borough of Ship Bottom with two
Awards of Distinction
in the Commercials - Travel & Tourism
category. Thousands of entries were considered from around the globe and were judged by industry leaders in The Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts. THG was recognized along with other winners such as include Netflix, Apple, PepsiCo, The Walt Disney Company, Visit Baltimore, NBCUniversal, Colonial Williamsburg, Taste of Italy, and Bank of America, and more.

2025 Communicator Award
Government or Municipal Campaign category
Lacey Township's “Recreation for ALL Seasons” video campaign which The Harrington Group, Inc. produced has won an Award of Distinction from The Communicator Awards competition.
The award winning campaign is a 4-part video series which promoted Lacey Township’s events and activities throughout 2024-2025.
The Communicator Awards is one of the largest and most competitive programs honoring excellence, effectiveness and innovation in communication.
Thousands of entries were received and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA). Fellow award recipients in this 31st year of the competition were Netflix, Apple, PepsiCo, The Walt Disney Company, NBCUniversal, Bank of America and more.

2023 Silver Telly Online Commercials - Branding
The Harrington Group's online commercial "Pup vs. Pupcake" featured a classic showdown - Spaghetti Western style. Rocky the Beagle and a Smallcakes of LBI doggie "pupcake" faced off, and you can guess who the victor was. This clever (and adorable) commercial promoted Smallcakes' pupcakes (cupcakes for dogs), and was used on their Facebook page. Previous Silver Telly award winners include CBS Interactive, HuffPost, Ogilvy and Mather, Time Warner, Viacom, WSJ, BET Networks, Bloomberg, Comcast, and more.

Recognizes “imaginative and boundary-blazing work” in digital arts and interactive media.

2023 Silver w3 Award
Public Service & Activism category
The Harrington Group, Inc. (THG) received a 2023 w3 Award for a Pedestrian Safety video they produced for the Ship Bottom Police Department (SBPD). The video features SBPD’s Sgt. Brian Tretola on camera covering guidelines, tips, demonstrative visuals and other pedestrian safety information, and was one is a series of videos produced for the borough of Ship Bottom which were sponsored by RE/MAX of LBI. These awards are sanctioned by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an exclusive assembly of top-tier professionals including experts from prestigious institutions such as Walt Disney Studios, Lippe Taylor, Meta, Publicis Sapient, Netflix, IBM, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, LG, and Wired Magazine, among others.

2023 Communicator Award
Fundraising category
Government Relations category
The Harrington Group received two Awards of Distinction for videos they produced for the LBI Arts + Sciences Foundation (LBIF), and Lacey Township.
For LBIF, THG won the Award of Distinction in the Fundraising category for “Annual Appeal Video,” which was very effective in helping the LBIF with its fundraising goals for 2022.
The Lacey Township video won for "Our Home" video in the Government Relations category, which is part of a video series celebrating life in Lacey. The award winning video recognized residents and the township for their successful response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Harrington Group, LBIF, and Lacey Township were recognized alongside other Film & Video Winners such as Coca-Cola, NASA, PBS, AARP, PepsiCo, Rolls Royce, GAF, and more.

2021 Silver Telly Branded Content Category
The Harrington Group's branding campaign for Pinelands Brewing Company won a Silver Telly Award in 2021 in the Branded Content category. The campaign promoted the Pineland's folksy brand & their four core products made from fresh, natural ingredients from the pristine pinelands region in South Jersey. It featured beautiful shots of the pinelands and included an original jingle written and produced by The Harrington Group and won alongside Playstation / SONY Interactive Entertainment, Fox Entertainment, AMC Networks, and beat Showtime Networks & Volvo in the same category.
